President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are speaking by phone as the U.S. pushes to end the war in Ukraine. The White House says the call is "going well." Ukraine has already agreed to a 30-day U.S-backed ceasefire proposal, but Russia has been resistant to any deal so far.        The deadline has passed for the Trump administration to submit information about a deportation flight that happened over the weekend to a federal judge. The flight sent Venezuelan nationals to El Salvador and the judge questions if the White House knowingly went against a previous order that halted any planned flights of Venezuelan migrants for two weeks. Meanwhile, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts pushed back on President Trump calling for the judge in the case to be impeached.        More than 20 million Americans are under extreme fire weather conditions. There are red flag warnings up from Arizona to Missouri, with 40-to-70 mile-per hour gusts, and extremely dry conditions. Wildfires are still burning in parts of Texas and Oklahoma, where at least four people died, and hundreds of buildings were damaged or destroyed.        President Trump says files related to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy are being released today. Speaking while touring the Kennedy Center Monday, Trump said around 80-thousand pages will be released. The President said a lot of Americans have been asking for this for a long time.        President Trump on Monday ended Secret Service protection for former President Biden's son, Hunter, and daughter Ashley. Trump called the number of people assigned to their detail "ridiculous" and said their protection would be revoked "immediately." Under federal law, ex-presidents and their spouses receive lifelong Secret Service protection, however their children are only guaranteed that protection if they are under the age of 16.        Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo will headline this year's Lollapalooza.
