Layers of security are still in effect in Washington, DC ahead of President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration. That comes as massive protests set for this weekend didn't materialize in the nation's capital. Thousands of National Guard troops have swaths of the city on a virtual lockdown.    President Trump is expected to issue many pardons before he leaves the White House. Multiple reports say he could pardon or commute around 100 people on his last full day in office. Trump has already pardoned over two dozen people, including a number who were linked to the Russia investigation.    Dr. Anthony Fauci [[ FOW-chee ]] says President-elect Joe Biden's goal of 100-million shots in the first 100 days of his administration is achievable. He said we're close to seeing data on vaccines from Johnson & Johnson along with AstraZeneca.    A Georgia congresswoman briefly suspended from Twitter is back to tweeting and she's not happy. Marjorie Taylor Greene was booted from the platform for half a day after the tech giant said she repeatedly violated its civic integrity policy. Greene fired off multiple tweets this morning and said Twitter isn't "the judge of humanity."    Betty White is now 99-years-old. She celebrated her birthday yesterday and announced the re-release of her 1971 talk show series "The Pet Set." It featured her chatting with celebrity friends and their pets.    Virgin Orbit is joining the ranks of companies like Space-X and Rocket Lab with its first successful trip into space. The company, which is the brainchild of billionaire Richard Branson, launched a small rocket from the wing of a modified airplane from 35-thousand feet.
