Half of the jurors for former President Trump's New York criminal hush money trial have been sworn in. The process is at the half-way mark and the jury selection process will continue until a panel of 12 New Yorkers and six alternates have been selected. The former President is accused of falsifying business records in order to cover up payments made to an adult film star just prior to the 2016 election.       President Biden is calling out his political rival Donald Trump as he campaigns in the swing state of Pennsylvania this week. While in his hometown of Scranton today, Biden contrasted his tax agenda with Trump's policies. Biden said under his plan, no one earning less than 400-thousand dollars annually will pay an additional penny in federal taxes, but vowed to raise taxes on the wealthy and corporations.       Articles of impeachment against the Homeland Security secretary have been delivered to the Senate. In February, Alejandro Mayorkas became the first Cabinet official to be impeached over his handling of the U.S.-Mexico border. All 100 senators will be sworn in Wednesday for a trial that isn't expected to last long.        The chairman of the Federal Reserve said there has been a "lack of progress" on inflation so far this year. Speaking at an economics forum in Washington, D.C. Tuesday, Jerome Powell indicated interest rates likely won't be cut next month. Interest rates have remained at their highest level in more than two decades since last July.        The University of Southern California is cancelling a valedictorian speech after the student allegedly posted links to a website describing the country of Israel as "racist settlers." Asna Tabassum will not be delivering a speech after some considered the posts to be anti semitic. The University maintains that they are not canceling the speech due to her comments but rather because of the unprecedented risks of harassment and violence that could break out.       The Olympic torch relay is underway. The flame was ignited early this morning in Greece at the ancient birthplace of the Olympics. The Summer Games are set to start July 26th.
