On August 30th 2017 at 4:54 pm the Woonsocket Police Department responded to a single car accident in the area of 715 Mendon Road. When they arrived they found four victims in the vehicle. Three of the victims were transported to Landmark Medical Center where Marsha Crowley 59 of Centrals Falls and a 13 year old male of Central Falls died from their injuries. Michael Beaucage 59 of Central Falls suffered minor injuries. The fourth victim a ten year old male from Central Falls was transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.

 

 As a result of the investigation Beaucage was charged with: Driving to endanger, death resulting (2 Counts) Driving under the Influence and Driving on a Suspended License. Beaucage will be arraigned in 6th District Court on the charges today.  The case remains under investigation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The White House says President Trump "disagrees" with a proposal to allow Russian operatives to question a former U.S. ambassador and other Americans. Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said today it was a proposal that was made "in sincerity" by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump had called the idea an "incredible offer" at a news conference in Helsinki Monday, touching off a political firestorm in Washington.       President Trump is ripping the media for the fallout after his controversial summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In a tweet today, Trump insisted that the summit was a great success. He again accused the mainstream media of generating fake news and said he looks forward to a follow up meeting with Putin.        Police in North Texas are waiting for search warrants to enter a home possibly connected with a bank robbery and shooting. Fort Worth police are not sure if someone is actually inside the house and have evacuated the neighborhood as a precaution. Three women were wounded during the morning robbery at Veritex Bank.        Los Angeles police are gearing up for an afternoon protest outside the office of Congresswoman Maxine Waters today. Members of the alt-right group the Oath Keepers are planning to demonstrate and counter-protestors are already making their voices heard. Waters has recently faced backlash for calling on people to confront supporters of President Trump in public.       Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is responding to the backlash over comments that seem to defend Holocaust deniers. In an interview with the online tech website Recode, Zuckerberg said while he found the Holocaust "deeply offensive," deniers would not be banned from Facebook. In a follow up email, Zuckerberg said he didn't intend to defend people who deny the Holocaust.        The grandson of mob boss John Gotti is facing charges. Cops arrested 32-year-old Carmine Gotti Agnello, who also starred in the reality TV show Growing Up Gotti, for allegedly running an illegal vehicle scrapyard in Queens. Agnello was arraigned today and released on his own recognizance and is due back in court in September.
