RIVERBOAT TOURS IN WOONSOCKET!!!

Come visit Woonsocket and experience a very different view of the Blackstone River while it flows under half a dozen bridges. Learn howWoonsocket grew into an industrial giant during the last third of the American Industrial Era spinning wool, cotton and to producing rubber products. The large structures made of steel, concrete and brick are a testament to coal, steam and water powered machinery that provided thousands of jobs, supported communities and created a bustling and booming industrial city.

The Trump administration is working toward reuniting children with their migrant parents. The administration says it has returned 364 children of the over 25-hundred who were separate from their parents, according to a court filing. Over 16-hundred parents are reportedly eligible to have their children returned.        President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will soon meet again. The White House has confirmed that Trump told National Security Adviser John Bolton to invite Putin to Washington in the fall. While in Helsinki, Trump had agreed to ongoing working level dialogue between the two security council staffs.        The Senate is unanimously voting to block any possibility of allowing foreign governments to question U.S. officials. A non-binding resolution passed with a unanimous vote today. The move comes after possibility that President Trump may allow Russian officials to question a former U.S. ambassador and other Americans.        Conservationists are opposing a Trump administration proposal, fearing it may strip key provisions from the Endangered Species Act. Officials say the change in the text would strip protections from species that are deemed merely "threatened" rather than "endangered." Also at issue is a proposal to strike language guiding officials to ignore economic consequences in favor of wildlife.       Kevin Kisner [[ KIZZ-ner ]] is leading after the first day of The Open Championship. The American carded a five-under 66 in Thursday's first round at Carnoustie Golf Links. Erik van Rooyen, Tony Finau [[ FEE-now ]] and Zander Lombard are all one shot back in second.
