Autumnfest Steering Committee Wants  Input On 2018 Grand Marshal

Woonsocket – Richard Savaria, Autumnfest General Chairman states that Autumnfest celebrates its 40th year in 2018.  The selection process for the 2018 Autumnfest Grand Marshal has begun and the Steering Committee is planning to announce its selection in early June.  The planning process for the Grand Marshal’s Celebration will be enhanced and the honoree/honorees will have more time to relish their prestigious award.

The criteria for the Autumnfest Grand Marshal apply to individual/individuals who have, without compensation, given of themselves above and beyond for the betterment of the community and in some way Autumnfest.  In short, their efforts and contribution must have come from the heart. Savaria said, “I refer to them as The Silent Heroes of the Community”.

Your suggestion is important!  Here is your chance to help the Autumnfest Steering Committee in their search for these Silent Heroes of the Community.  Please hurry; application submission deadline for Autumnfest Grand Marshal is May 31, 2018.

The Grand Marshal’s selection form can be found on the Autumnfest Website (www.autumnfest.org) under Grand Marshal or by e-mailing Tyler Martin.  Help the committee in its selection process by forwarding all completed forms to Tyler Martin (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or by mail to Autumnfest Grand Marshall, PO Box 574, Woonsocket, RI 02895 by May 30, 2018.
