President Trump says the "phony investigations" into his campaign must end before he will take part in any infrastructure deal. Trump was set to meet with Congressional Democratic leaders for a follow-up meeting on infrastructure. He said he told House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Chuck Schumer he cannot do an infrastructure deal until the investigations end. Trump said he was surprised to hear Pelosi held a meeting about impeaching him with Dems right before the planned meeting.        Top Democrats are disappointed in President Trump's decision to walk away from negotiations over infrastructure. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she is praying for the President and the United States. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer said Trump's comments in the brief White House meeting were jaw dropping.        The man known as the American Taliban will soon be released from his jail cell. John Walker Lindh will be released from federal prison on Terre Haute, Indiana tomorrow. Lindh was captured by U.S. Forces in Afghanistan after the September 11th attacks. Lindh pleaded guilty in 2002 and was sentenced to 20 years behind bars.        At least three people have died as a result of severe weather pounding a wide area of the country. The recent storms responsible for bringing strong rains, flooding, hail and dozens of tornadoes claimed the lives of at least two people in Missouri and one in Oklahoma. Nearly 28-million people will be in the path of the storms as they continue today.        Investigators hired by a Virginia medical school cannot determine if Democratic Governor Ralph Northam is the person in a 1984 yearbook photo in blackface. Northam faced a political firestorm three months ago after the photo in his Eastern Virginia Medical School surfaced. Northam initially said he was in the photo, but backtracked the next day, saying he was convinced he was not in the picture.        HBO is defending the ending to Game of Thrones. Over 19-million people tuned in to the series finale Sunday night, which set new records for Game of Thrones and for HBO. But over a million fans signed an online petition calling for a remake of Game of Thrones Season 8 with "competent writers." HBO's head of programming says there was no way for to craft an ending that everyone enjoyed.
