President Trump's supporters are starting to fill the arena where he's set to kick off his 2020 re-election campaign tonight. Trump is on his way to Orlando, Florida for a rally at the Amway Center. Apart from the 20-thousand people that could fill the arena, police are expecting large crowds of supporters outside.        Incidents of domestic violence are coming to light as Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan leaves the Pentagon. Shanahan has removed himself from consideration for a confirmed appointment as defense chief. The Washington Post is reporting that Shanahan's now ex-wife was arrested several years ago for punching him the face.        Officials are calling it one of the biggest cocaine busts in Philadelphia. Sixteen tons of cocaine, worth nearly three-quarters-of-a-billion-dollars, were confiscated inside seven ship containers at the Port of Philadelphia this morning. DEA, Customs and Homeland Security Investigation agents made the bust on a cargo ship.        Celebrity attorney Michael Avenatti is scheduled to go to trial this fall in New York City over charges he extorted Nike. A Manhattan federal judge has set a trial date of November 12th, as Avenatti has been accused of trying to extort the shoe and apparel company for over 20-million-dollars. He also faces charges of stealing from his former client Stormy Daniels in a separate case, but a court hearing in that matter was delayed until July 23rd.        Stocks are surging on Wall Street after President Trump tweeted he's planning to hold an "extended meeting" with Chinese President Xi Jinping [[ she jeen-peeng ]] at the G20 Summit in Japan. Trump said he had a very good conversation with the Chinese leader on the phone. He added that U.S and Chinese teams will begin trade talks prior to their meeting next week in Osaka.        The condition of Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz is now upgraded to good. His wife, Tiffany Ortiz, says Big Papi continues to make progress in the Intensive Care Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. Ortiz was shot earlier this month at a bar in the Dominican Republic.
