U.S. officials are in Russia as they discuss a possible ceasefire with Ukraine. The talks in Moscow come after Ukraine agreed to a 30-day ceasefire in its fight against Russia, who invaded the sovereign nation about three years ago. In Washington, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte [[ RUH-tuh ]] is scheduled to visit Trump at the White House today, where they will likely discuss a possible ceasefire.        The global trade war is now focused on alcohol. President Trump says he will place a 200-percent tariff on European wine and Champagne. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said it would be in response to a 50-percent tariff on Whiskey implemented by the EU.        Democrats are set to reject a government funding bill that was passed by the House. It comes as a possible government shutdown looms tomorrow night. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said yesterday his party has the votes to block it.        A rare tornado hit Southern California today. The National Weather Service confirms an 85 mile-per-hour twister hit a neighborhood in Los Angles County. It left a one-mile path, with a width of about 80-yards of minor damage.        Court proceedings are likely to move fast in the case of a pro-Palestinian activist facing possible deportation after being arrested by ICE agents in New York City. The White House says Mahmoud Khalil's pro-Palestinian activism was anti-Semitic and pro-Hamas. Khalil--a green card holder, married to an American citizen--is currently in federal custody in Louisiana.        Spotify says it paid out a million-dollars or more in royalties last year to nearly 15-hundred artists. The streaming service said Wednesday that 80 percent of those didn't have a song that reached the app's Daily Top 50 chart. Instead, the artists had at least four-to-five million monthly listeners or 20-to-25 million monthly streams.
